New from probably the most popular GPS provider out there, the new garmin nuvi 770, 760 and 750 bring a new few things to the table while keeping with and building upon what has made the past garmin nuvi series some of the most popular selling electronics for the last years.

Several exciting features for those that have been keeping an eye on the competition are finally breaking through, with some new innovative features and goodies as well as final introduction to long asked for features from the GPS crowd. I’m guessing 99% will love the new design and appearance, keeping the ultra slim and streamlined form of the 2XX series, with the exciting and vivid 4.3 inch widescreen display. I particularly love the non intrusive antenna design, and with the extremely sensitive and powerful chipsets garmin is using these days, lack of external antenna doesn’t mean a weaker signal by any means.

The Garmin Nuvi 770, nuvi 760, and nuvi 750 all come standard issue with the FM receiver – hot news for those of you with a decent in car stereo to relay the sound through your cars audio system rather then the sometimes quiet nuvi speaker and especially if you love garmin’s female aussie robot voice as much as I do for keep me company while shouting out turn orders much like my wife would

Compare The Garmin Nuvi 750 / 760 / 770

The Garmin Nuvi 750 GPS would be what you call the base unit, sporting the lighter color (the other two have a deeper gunmetal shade) lacking advanced features such as traffic receiver, bluetooth. europe maps and a few other things.

For your average person that doesnt want bluetooth, won’t take advantage of many bad traffic avoidance, and doesn’t plan on travel outside the country

The Garmin Nuvi 750 GPS Add Bluetooth hands free calling (to help make others think you are nuts for talking to yourself) FMC traffic receiver to help avoid sticky situations and tie-ups and a few more things.

Probably best for people that find themselves talking on the phone lots while driving, often navigating through high traffic areas prone to congestion and tieups (new york anyone?) and intending to use the unit within north america and not europe

The Garmin Nuvi 770 GPS The biggest and most badass unit, this fully loaded one also has price that will make your wallet take up less space in your pocket or purse (woohoo!) and has extreme coverage for people that may be going transatlantic and European traveling with their new best expensive fried

Probably the best choice if you may or intend on going overseas, the European map packs and data upgrade is a hefty price and as such buying the 770 will save you money over a map upgraded 760

With a manufacturers suggested retail price that is pretty large, look to get these soon for about $599, $799 and $999 respectively… definietly not the cheapest option, but is looking to offer the most function the market is delivering early 2008!

The Garmin 770 is just sexy as heck! I got to play around with one recently, and even though I haven’t ever owned a GPS system and haven’t really thought about buying one just yet, as I played around with this thing in person and just saw how much potential it has I was hooked and understand why the whole automotive GPS and portable / pocket sized GPS markets are literally exploding right.

The menu system is very simplistic and incredibly well laid out, you have a feeling like everything is just so simple and ‘cleanly’ integrated through the various menus, but at the same time the sheer volume and depth of information and functions contained within that minimalist menu navigation system is staggering. I really don’t know how to explain what I’m trying to describe here, something along the lines that there is so much to this massively comprehensive gadget, but at the same time a person whom has lived in a shed in the mountains there whole life could learn how to take advantage of the unit with the incredibly intelligent design of the Garmin nuvi 770.

Physically it was quite sleek and slim, something that would make your car look high-tech if you had it sitting in the windshield, and at the same time you could take it off the mount and slip it into your shirt or back pocket. The other nuvi 370 and 670 systems I saw had a flip up antenna where the Nuvi 770 did not, and the touch screen on the garmin 770 seemed to have more vivid and bright display then the others.

I really don’t have too much to say just yet about the garmin nuvi 770 GPS system on a traveling experience type of level as I just got to fool around with one for a bit inside, but I definitely will be leaving amore hands on driving experience review as I receive mind soon!

I’m a traveling salesman and am constantly finding myself all over the USA, Canada, and Europe so I can really take advantage of the Nuvi 370/670/770 systems preloaded European data…

The Garmin Nuvi 370 has been a personal godsend for me if so many ways, helping me find hotels, entertainment venues, locations I need to be with its points of interests and great detailed navigation instructions. It truly has been an investment in time and money, with me not loosing time or patience trying to get where I’m going without having to leave hours in advance because of the possibility of being late.

I’m not sure if the Nuvi 770 GPS (or any garmin X70) is the most appropriate choice for every consumer with its rather extensive range; but if you are a frequent, inpatient, or anxious traveler it is definitely an investment in your sanity, time and wallet over the long run!

The Garmin Nuvi 770 GPS is without a doubt the most experience, feature and navigation rich system that’s available to us today, and we are so excited to get our nerdy little hands on one and go through all of the revamped and new things that the 700 series is offering consumers.

The Nuvi 770 is the more expensive unit, containing all extra features and with pre-loaded transatlantic maps and such, it is for the frequent travelers that want a system that won’t be obsolete in a couple of months as technology rapidly evolves. The garmin 770 is recommended for people that can take advantage of the Euro capability and if you already know that you won’t be flying overseas with your GPS, step down to the garmin nuvi 760 to save some money.

The Nuvi 760 is for North American people that don’t plan on taking their nuvi overseas, and still contains all the add-ons and bonus tools that the nuvi770 does – offering a cheaper price but without the prospect of being able to use it across the ocean; and you save some cash

The Nuvi 750 is the ‘core’ unit, with all the basic functions and systems of the 3 while lacking the more advanced functions like wireless hands free calling, bluetooth and the like. If you want the newest top of the line system but aren’t a frequent or techno geek type of person, the garmin nuvi 750 offers a great price tag for beginners.

There isn’t much in the way of garmin nuvi 770 reviews just yet, so hopefully my research into the differences between the 3 will help you decide the best one for you to purchase so you can get out there and develop your own experienced review!

We have preordered the garmin nüvi 770 gps unit for a planned family reunion tour through Europe early 2008. I don’t have much to say so far about the Nuvi 770 model yet, but we do already own a garmin nuvi 350 and if its meteoric rise to fame and mass success is any indication… these newer garmin nuvi’s (750/760/770) should be showing up in hundreds of thousands of happy customers vehicles soon enough.

The Nuvi 350 is truly an exceptional piece of hardware and our family would have a hard time without it these days, and looking at the garmin nüvi 770′s change list and new features it seems like it is just building on top of what has made there other units so special and awesome, with new and innovative features, upgrades and a bunch of small tweaks that will make this the ultimate unit that money can buy for quite some time to come. Oh and we pre-ordered the Garmin 770 because of its inclusion right out of the box for transatlantic and cross country travel, an upgrade that if done alone to the x50 and x60 model garmin’s costs something like 200-300 alone!
